Benjamin proved to the jury and the Montreal public that he is a first class musician. He was described by Christophe Huss, the famous music critic (Le Devoir-classicstoday.com)has "The musicalangel of the competition... Huss mentions that not since 1966 Queen Elizabeth competition(Hirshchorn-Kremer-Mullova) was revealed such a high level among the contestants and that Beilman''s triumph is historical in the long archives of the Montreal international contest.
