János Starker: King of Cellists

Joyce Geeting, author of János Starker: King of Cellists, is interviewed by Lorraine Hull and Bill Smithers in Santa Barbara, California about her book, career, music and János Starker, whom Geeting claims is the most influential person in the history of the cello. Joyce Geeting knew Starker personally, having worked with him as part of her doctoral dissertation.

János Starker: King of Cellists is available now at The Strad Library.
