Violinist Tomás Cotik presents a video performance of the Prelude from Bach’s Suite for Solo Cello in a transcription for violin. The work features on Cotik’s new recording of the six suites, out now on Centaur.

Cotik currently resides in Madrid, Spain, holding a nine-month-long Fulbright research award during his sabbatical year as a violin professor at Portland State University in Oregon.
