The ensemble joins the roster for management in the Netherlands, Belgium and Luxembourg
Domselaer Artist Management has announced the signing of the London-based Paddington Trio, which comprises violinist Tuulia Hero, cellist Patrick Moriarty and pianist Stephanie Tang. The agency recently signed the Barbican Quartet and violinist SongHa Choi.
Upcoming engagements for the trio in 2025 include performances in the Netherlands at Valleiconcerten Leusden, Tivoli Vrendenburg Utrecht ant the Storioni Festival.
Having made its Kings Place debut last week, the Paddington Trio will perform this year at Wigmore Hall, Kings Place, Chipping Campden Music Festival, Great Lakes Chamber Music Festival, with return festival appearances in West Cork and Kuhmo festivals in the summer. The trio will tour the US and China in the autumn season.
The ensemble has been recognised in numerous competitions, including first prize at the 70th Royal Over-Seas League Competition for Strings and Piano Ensemble, 2024 Triomphe de l’Art International Competition, 2024 Storioni Concours, 2023 Parkhouse Award in Wigmore Hall, 2023 Schiermonnikoog Festival Audience Award and the 2022 NEW FORMATS Project Prize.
The trio is currently supported by the City Music Foundation, Kirckman Concert Society and GBZ Management. In the summer of 2023, the trio completed an Artist Fellowship programme at its alma mater, the Guildhall School of Music & Drama in London, and continues to teach and inspire young ensembles through the Chamber Fellowship Programme at the Royal Northern College of Music into the 2024/2025 semester.
Paddington Trio is ensemble-in-residence at the Reina Sofia International Institute of Chamber Music under Günter Pichler and also receives mentorship from European Chamber Music Academy (ECMA), ChamberStudio and the Netherlands String Quartet Academy (NSKA). The trio studied under Thomas Adès at the IMS Prussia Cove’s 50th anniversary masterclasses.
Tuulia Hero plays on a 1707 Stradivari violin, generously on loan from the Sibelius Academy, University of the Arts Helsinki.
