The US-cellist received an Avery Fisher Career Grant in 2021 and was the winner of the Sphinx Competition in 2019
Cellist Sterling Elliott has signed with Colbert Artists Management. Elliot is a 2021 Avery Fisher Career Grant recipient and the winner of the Senior Division of the 2019 National Sphinx Competition.

Having completed his undergraduate degree in cello performance at The Juilliard School in May 2021, Elliott is currently a Kovner Fellow at Juilliard where he is pursuing a masters degree studying with Joel Krosnick and Clara Kim. He recently made his debut at the Hollywood Bowl playing Tchaikovsky Rococo Variations with the LA Phil and Bramwell Tovey, and has performed extensively as a soloist across the United States, including previous engagements with the Philadelphia Orchestra, New York Philharmonic, Boston Symphony Orchestra and Cleveland Orchestra.
