The Suntory Hall, based in Tokyo, has recently launched the Digital Suntory Hall as part of its 35th anniversary project.

The project, set in motion last year after Suntory Hall was forced, like most venues, to close temporarily, will provide a way to deliver music safely both during and after the pandemic.  Currently the contents include Online Events, Virtual Backstage Tour, Streamed Concerts, Online Shop, Video Library, and Performance Archive. All content and information are accessible in English.

The first online event on the Digital Suntory Hall is Digital Open House (available until 31 May 2021), an event that, pre-Covid, took place every spring in the Suntory Hall.  The online event features concerts in the Main Hall and Blue Rose (Small Hall), as well as interactive programmes. More online events will be added in the coming months.
