The annual Oberlin Violin Makers Workshop brings together talented luthiers from all over the world to share their tips, methods and expertise with their peers. Every year it involves at least one collaborative project on which the assembled makers can pool their talents, and each day is punctuated with demonstrations by individuals on their most recent endeavours, from varnish recipes to innovative tools…
