COMPETITION RESULTS

The Galy-González Duo, consisting of French violinist Manon Galy, 25, and Cuban pianist Jorge González, 27, have won €13,000 at the 16th Lyon International Chamber Music Competition, including the €10,000 first prize. Both players are studying for an artist diploma at the Paris Conservatoire. Second prize was given to the French Roche-Meder Duo and third prize was awarded to the AO Duo, from Japan. The award ceremony will take place at the Lyon Opera on 10 October…
