Steering away from video content, the violin comedy duo has its sights set on an upcoming world tour
KD SCHMID has expanded its representation of the violin duo TwoSet Violin from orchestral projects in North America and Europe to exclusive worldwide general management of all global touring projects.
TwoSet Violin initially signed to KD SCHMID in May 2024 as a ’Special Attraction’ for representation in North America and Europe for Orchestral Projects.
The news comes as the duo recently announced dates for its 2025/26 World Tour, which begins in July. TwoSet Violin (comprising Brett Yang and Eddy Chen) will debut its first ever symphonic show entitled Sacreligious Games in the upcoming North American leg of the tour, which includes collaborations with the Seattle, San Francisco, Vancouver, New Jersey, Atlanta and Toronto symphonies with additional concerts presented by Chicago Symphony Presents, Performing Arts Houston, Ensemble Arts Philly, and more.
’We look forward to expanding our global partnership!’ the agency said in a statement.
In October 2024, TwoSet Violin suddenly announced on social media it was ’ending its chapter’ after eleven years. The statement was met with confusion and disbelief among the duo’s fan community, as the majority of its video and posts were removed from YouTube and Instagram.
The pair confirmed in December 2024 in an interview with The New York Times that they were finished with TwoSet Violin, though would likely continue to work together. As part of their farewell, Yang and Chen released six videos in which they played members of K-pop inspired band, B²TSM (which stands for Bach, Beethoven, Tchaikovsky, Shostakovich and Mozart).
Since then, the duo’s YouTube and Instagram channels have restored content. On 12 March, the pair announced its World Tour with dates covering North America, and more cities and dates to be announced in future.
