Watch cellist Alisa Weilerstein return to the stage of Wigmore Hall in this performance from 13 September, following an unfortunate string of cancellations due to contracting Covid last month. Weilerstein opens the concert with Omar Amor by Osvaldo Golijov, which is inspired by the Argentinian tango composer Carlos Gardel, followed by Bach’s Suites for Solo Cello no. 2 in D minor and no.3 in C major.
