Watch cellist Anastasia Kobekina and clarinettist Nicolas Baldeyrou perform David Popper’s Dance of the Elves in this unique arrangement, featuring some special guests from Middle Earth.
Kobekina won the Bronze medal at the XVI International Tchaikovsky Competition in St. Petersburg in 2017, becoming a BBC Radio 3 New Generation Artist in 2018. She plays a 1743 Giovanni Battista Guadagnini in this performance. Baldeyrou is the principal clarinet of the Orchestre Philharmonique de Radio France.
