On 22 October, violinist Cristiano Gualco and violist Simone Gramaglia from the Quartetto di Cremona performed on a Vueling flight from Barcelona to Palma de Mallorca. They played an arrangement of ’Quando le sere al placido’ from Giuseppe Verdi’s opera Luisa Miller.
The performance came at the end of the quartet’s Spanish tour, which finished in Palma on 22 October. The group celebrates its 25th anniversary this year.
On social media, the ensemble said of the performance: ’Huge thanks to Vueling for making this unforgettable experience possible. Sharing classical music with our fellow travellers was a true joy!
