Violin soloist and teacher Roman Totenberg performs Szymanowski's Concerto no.1 with the Boston University Symphony Orchestra in February 2001 in celebration of his 90th birthday. Totenberg died at the age of 101 in 2012 and taught at the university up to his death.

The 1734 'Ames' Stradivarius, which was stolen from Totenberg in 1980, was recently recovered after 35 years.
