The Juilliard School has recruited cellists David Finckel and Natasha Brofsky. They will join the school's cello faculty and chamber music faculty this autumn.
Finckel, who studied at Juilliard, recently announced that he will retire from the Emerson Quartet at the end of the 2012/13 season. Brofsky is the cellist in the Peabody Trio and teaches at the New England Conservatory in Boston, where she will keep her position on the cello faculty.
