Czech violinist Ivan Zenaty will join the faculty of the
Cleveland Institute of Music (CIM) in autumn 2012. Zenaty, who
studied with Josef Suk and made his debut with the Czech
Philharmonic in 1983, has taught for the past 15 years at the
Hochschule für Musik Carl Maria von Weber in Dresden. He is also
active as a soloist and recitalist.
Zenaty's appointment comes less than three months after ClM
announced that violinist and violist Jaime Laredo and cellist
Sharon Robinson will be joining its instrumental and chamber music
faculties this autumn.
