The artist joins violinist Daniel Hope, cellist Jean-Guihen Queyras and violist Lise Berthaud at the company
Dutch violinist Simone Lamsma has left international management company IMG Artists to join smaller French film Solea Management, which specialises in representing classical musicians.
Founded in 2005, Solea also represents violinist Daniel Hope, cellist Jean-Guihen Queyras and violist Lise Berthaud.
Lamsma is a regular artistic collaborator with conductor Jaap van Zweden and recently debuted with the Chicago Symphony. Highlights for her 2016-17 season include debuts with the National Symphony Orchestra of Washington, Vancouver Symphony and BBC National Orchestra of Wales, as well as return performances with the London Philharmonic, Dallas Symphony, San Francisco Symphony and Seoul Philharmonic. A graduate of the Yehudi Menuhin School and London's Royal Academy of Music, Lamsma recorded sonatas by Mendelssohn, Janácek and Schumann with pianist Robert Kulek for Challenge Classics in 2015.
