Music charity London Music Masters has named the three
violinists receiving its 2012–15 career development awards.
American Benjamin Beilman, 22, South Korean Hyeyoon Park, 20, and
22-year-old Alexandra Soumm from France were each awarded a package
including £10,000 to support their career development, and
performances at the Wigmore Hall and the Royal Festival Hall.
London Music Masters gives its international awards every three
years to three violinists between the ages of 16 and 25. As well as
the awards, the charity operates a music education programme in
primary schools.
