My workshop is housed in a specialist craft studio for independent makers in south-east London. I work here with around 50 other artisans, from jewellers to leatherworkers, and it makes for a very creative atmosphere. We socialise and discuss each other’s crafts, and share some of facilities such as the machine room in the basement. Also I was awarded a bursary to subsidise my workshop costs, which has been very useful in the difficult environment of the past year!
