Nathan Milstein: Beethoven Violin Sonata no.9, 'Kreutzer'
Nathan Milstein plays Beethoven’s Violin Sonata no.9, op.47 (‘Kreutzer’) at the Berwerdhallen in Stockholm, Sweden, in July 1986. Filmed by documentary maker Christopher Nupen, this performance was the 82-year-old Milstein’s last public recital before a hand injury ended his long career. The pianist is Georges Pludermacher.
