The young musician competition takes place in September
The 2019 Zhuhai International Mozart Competition for Young Musicians has announced its category candidates.

Presented by the University of Mozarteum Salzburg, the biennial competition will be held in Zhuhai, China from the 10th to the 22nd of September, with the Group C 1st prize winner receiving US $30,000, the Group B winner receiving US $15,000 and the Group A winner, US $7,500.
The 2019 jury comprises: Paul Roczek (Artistic Director), Julius Berger (Chairman), Lewis Kaplan, Boris Kuschnir, Michael Ma, Silvia Marcovici, Qian Zhou and Weidong Tong.
