The city of Brussels, which is experiencing a surge in Covid cases, has just entered a three week shutdown on all cultural events.
All cultural centres, theatres, cinemas, museums and galleries will be included in the shutdown, which will last until 19 November. There is also a ban on gatherings of more than four people.
Belgium is currently one of the worst-hit countries in Europe, with the rate of new cases at its highest since the start of the pandemic. The last official figures record 15622 new cases.
