Violinist Benjamin Baker and cellist Oliver Herbert perform Four Postcards from the Lakes by Gareth Farr. The work was commissioned for the At World’s Edge Festival’s 2022 edition, of which Baker is the artistic director, and Farr served as composer in residence.
At World’s Edge Festival runs until 20 October 2023 in Queenstown, Wanaka, Bannockburn and Cromwell in New Zealand. This year’s composer in residence is Victoria Kelly.
The performance was recorded at Guarneri Hall, Chicago. The production team includes executive producer Stefan Hersh, Guarneri Hall NFP; director of photography and video editor Mike Grittani, Grittani Creative LTD; and audio engineer Christopher Willis.
