Nathan Milstein plays Beethoven’s Violin Sonata no.9, op.47 (‘Kreutzer’) at the Berwerdhallen in Stockholm, Sweden, in July 1986.
Filmed by documentary maker Christopher Nupen, this performance was the 82-year-old Milstein’s last public recital before a hand injury ended his long career.
The pianist is Georges Pludermacher.
