The long-time contributor to The Strad has several books published through Edition Peters
Violinist and educator Simon Fischer has joined Edition Peters Artist Management (EPAM). The Guildhall School and Yehudi Menuhin School professor has contributed popular monthly Basics articles to The Strad since 1991, and has had several technical books and DVDs published by Edition Peters – including ‘Basics and Practice’ (translated into Korean, Italian and German), ‘Scales and The Violin Lesson’, ‘The Secrets of Tone Production’, and ‘Warming Up’.
Formed in 2011 as an artist agency within the Edition Peters
publishing house, EPAM seeks to expand the careers of its musicians
through concerts, publishing opportunities and CD releases. In
addition to a number of vocal artists and groups, the agency also
represents the Fugata Quintet, pianist Daniel Grimwood and
conductor Stephen Cleobury.
