Levon Chilingirian has left the Royal College of Music (RCM) to join the Guildhall School of Music & Drama as professor of violin. The 64-year-old violinist studied at the RCM after moving to London at the age of 12. In 1971 he co-founded the Chilingirian Quartet, which has been quartet in residence at the RCM since 1988. Chilingirian starts his new position at the Guildhall School on 10 September.
