Sarah Chang had her passport confiscated for two hours by immigration officials at Moscow airport who said there was a problem with her visa. The frustrated violinist posted a series of messages on Twitter:
'Seriously, if there's a problem, send me home. Really. I haven't been home in months. Just give me back my passport!'
'If u don't want me in ur country, that's fine, really and truly! No hard feelings. Just give me back my passport + let me go home then!'
A call to her managers at IMG and the promoters of her Moscow concert helped rectify the situation. She explained later that the issue with her visa was down to a 'stupid mistake' – there was just a blank space under 'Sex' where there should have been an 'F'.
